EMERGE Live! Launches Groundbreaking Mental Health and Wellness Merchandise Line for Black Women

Celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month with EMERGE Live’s New “Soul Therapy” Collection

May 21, 2024 – EMERGE Live! announces the debut of its groundbreaking Soul Therapy Collection, marking a milestone in mental health and wellness for Black women. This beautifully designed line of products was created to address the unique needs and cultural aesthetics of Black women on their journey to well-being and healing.

Statistics highlight a critical need: Black women are 20% more likely to experience serious mental health problems compared to the general population. Yet, access to culturally relevant mental health resources and products remains limited. EMERGE Live!'s new Soul Therapy merchandise line seeks to address some of these disparities by offering products that encourage healing, celebration, and transformation.

Julian B. Kiganda and Christine K. St. Vil, sisters and co-authors of the transformational book, Whose Shoes Are You Wearing? 12 Steps to Uncovering the Woman You Really Want to Be, are commemorating the book’s 10-year anniversary with this significant launch.

"I was having a hard time finding wellness products and merchandise that reflected my culture and who I am as a Black woman, so I partnered with my sister to do something about it. Our mission has always been to uplift Black women on their journey to healing and purpose," said Julian B. Kiganda, "and what better time than Mental Health Awareness Month to express our commitment to our community.”

The collection, which will feature new items regularly, includes apparel, journals, wall art, accessories, and more, all designed to empower Black women to prioritize their mental health and encourage healing and self-care. The items incorporate bold affirmations, powerful quotes, and vibrant imagery that reflect the strength, beauty, and resilience of Black women.

More than a product line, EMERGE Live! embodies a movement—one that aligns with the work these two sisters are passionate about. "We are inviting Black women to join us in transforming the narrative around mental health, self-love, and wellness, and to find joy and healing on our own terms," states Christine K. St.Vil.

The Soul Therapy Collection, a celebration of Black womanhood and resilience, is now available for purchase at www.shopemergelive.com.
